Most digital scrapbook designers include frames in most of their kits, and Chelle’s Creations kits are no exception. Most of us think to frame our pictures with them, but they can be used in many other ways. Chelle’s team members have made some examples for you to see the many ways to use frames. Jennifer used two frames stacked and turned at angles to frame her photo in a non-traditional way. She also created the perfect background paper by arranging frames and papers together in a grid pattern. I hope this bruise is better by now. Ouch!!
Kairyn used a frame for a photo, but she also framed some embellishments and then had them hanging from a clothes line – very creative. Likewise, Lynnett framed some embellishments, but she has them peeking out from behind her photos, and her arrangement draws your eye to the center photo very well.
Finally, Kim used a frame to enclose her story, and it’s an entertaining one, so take time to read it. Very cute indeed!
Why don’t you take a minute to add a frame or two to a page you’re working on, and try to stretch yourself – use the frames in a way you haven’t done before.
Also I wanted to bring to your attention that I used the frames to create my border background, in the layout with the bruise. I re-colored the frame in the kit to two different colors and filled them with paper to create a border.
What great uses of frames!! Thanks for the reminders. I will definitely keep this in mind!!!
Jennifer’s a brave cookie for posting a big ol’ picture of her butt in a scrapbook post! 😀 Mine would have needed a wide-angle lens! bwahaha! (I hope your bruise is better by now, Jennifer!!)
