Kimberly (EnjoyYourPix) created this layout using Taste of Home & Fill Me In {Marker} Love the picture of her two kids together. Love how she pulled the yellow color into the layout.

Kayla (KeepScrappin) She used Give Thanks for her layout. I really like the use of the big picture and her cluster. Isn’t it fun to look at the feast all laid out for us to salivate over?

Yummy Yum! Create you layouts and load them into the gallery. Can’t wait to see the yummy food your family enjoys!

How To Start A Conversation | Words on Wednesdays

Conversations! We all have them. How do you get your family to start talking. Kids, Teens, Spouse, Grandparents? It can e a challenge. This week I saw fun idea. Use your place cards at your Thanksgiving dinner. I think this is a fantastic idea.

Here are some questions you could ask.

If you could invite two famous people to dinner, who would they be and why?
What product from an infomercial would you most like to own?
If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which should would you choose?
If you could have super power, what would it be?
If you could stop doing one chore around the house, what would it be?
If you could add one item to your bedroom, what would you choose?
What is one thing that could be invented to make your life easier?
What is the best costume you have ever worn?
What is your favorite breakfast?
If you found $100 what would you do with it?
If you could change your first name, what would it be?
If you could go anywhere on your next vacation where would it be?
If you could have personally witnessed one event in history, what would you choose?
If you could ask one person from history a question to which they have to give an honest answer, whom would you choose and what question would you ask?
If you were a circus performer, what act would you perform?
What is your favorite Thanksgiving tradition?
How did you meet?
What was your first date?
Tell us the details about when you got engaged?
What is your favorite toy and why?
Are you a morning person or a night owl? Why?
What is your favorite hobby?
What is your favorite car or truck?
What is your favorite movie?
What is your favorite color?

Let me show you what our creative team used to start their conversations. Let’s start off with Cami (camijo). She created this layout after asking her daughter what she learned in preschool? I really like her cluster work. She used “Give Thanks”

Christine (CarolinaScrapper) did this lovely layout about her husband passing on important information to his newborn son. A tender opportunity for sure. I love the page edger. She used Bluebird on my Shoulder.

Helen (Winipeg1) used Toadally to document different conversations with her daughter. Kids are always full of great scrapping opportunities. I like the fact it is a layout without pictures. I like the chevron effect of this layout.

Jenn V (jennv) She tells of ways her husband passes on his wisdom about life during some non-traditionally interview opportunities. Those pictures really tell the tale.

Tammy (CraftyTam) Her Grandpa turned 99 this year. She made this layout so that her children could treasure the past and the ways the world has changed during his lifetime. I really like the way she used the laces and her cluster. She used Choose the Right {Trek}, Letters from Home, & Traveler.

No matter how you do your questions, the important thing is to get it down so that you can add it to a layout. I really liked all of the ladies ideas and I know you’ll be able to create many more of your own.

Classics: We Wish You a Merry Christmas

I know it’s still a couple of days before Thanksgiving in the USA, but the Christmas season has already begun for me. My first holiday concert of the season was this past weekend, and I have some photos to scrap. I know just which products of Chelle’s I will use: We Wish You a Merry Christmas. In the bundle are the kit, the add-on, and the carols, but if you’re shopping, don’t miss the quickies. They’re a great time saver, and in this busy holiday season, I can use all the help I can get saving time.

Chelle’s CT ladies have been making pages to inspire us. First, Jan has a page about her Santa Lucia celebration, and the bundle matches the theme of her photos perfectly.

Next, Karen used her photos from the Magic Kingdom to make a page. The colors in the kit match the colors of the Christmas décor at Walt Disney World perfectly, and I love the blocked layout she chose to show lots of photos.

Jenn chose to use this holiday kit to record her memories of a favorite place where the family gathers to celebrate. I love the little cardinals peeking out of the clusters of greenery on her page.

Leah has a double page layout for us. Her large photo that spans the background of both sides of the page makes a big impact, doesn’t it?

Finally, Heather chose to make her page with her family portraits. It looks like she planned their outfits based on the papers in Chelle’s kit, but I know that isn’t true. Still, the colors and plaids in the kit are the perfect complement to the colors those adorable children are wearing.

I can’t wait to get started on my page. Here’s a closer look at the kit in the market, and don’t forget there’s an add-on, carols, and quickies in the market, too. If you want to save a bit, purchase the bundle and all you will need in addition is the quickies.

Thanksgiving Hybrid Projects | Digital Scrapbooking Resources

Hey Everyone!

I’m amazed that next week is Thanksgiving here in the U.S. I’ve got some ideas from the Creative Team for hybrid digital scrapbooking projects you can create. Treat bag toppers, banners for your windows, invitations and thank-you cards, our ladies are getting it done with some great ideas for you. All of the ladies’ used Chelle’s Give Thanks kit.

Kayla (keepscrappin) made this treat bag topper. I love that phrase, “Gobble til ya Wobble.” That’s perfect! Anyone else want some popcorn, pretzels or candy corn? Yum!

Then we have a card by Lisa (kelseyll). Cute cluster.

Karen (zippyoh) made this wonderful card. I love that she used the “little people” included in the Give Thanks kit.

Last we have Kimberly (enjoyyourpix). I ADORE the banner she created. It looks amazing with her mirror in the background.

Digital Pocket Pages

Hi Chelle’s friends and fans! We’re looking at pocket-style digital scrapbooking today, and you are in for a huge treat! Chelle’s CTMs have provided lots of examples to show us the various ways they use her In the Pocket products : In the Pocket {square}, In the Pocket {small}, In the Pocket {strips}, and In the Pocket {pages}.

First, I want to show you a photo of a real pocket page by Kimberly. She used Chelle’s Let’s Camp Smore to create individual cards to fit her pocket page in real life. After printing the cards, she wrote her story on each and slipped them into the pockets of the plastic page. Look closely at the details.

Now look at this page by Jenn, and compare the realistic look of Chelle’s plastic pocket effect in a digital format. Isn’t it amazing? By the way, Jenn used Chelle’s See Clearly Now, Marker Alpha, Chalked Cards, CU Label Shapes, and the wooden A tile is from Game On.

Next, Donna made a double page layout with 2 of the pocket pages. She likes to show the stitching of the pockets but prefers the look of her photos as they sit atop the plastic layer, which works easily in a digital scrapbooking page. She used On the Water and Gone Fishin.

Mel and Tammy love to use the In the Pocket templates, but they prefer to leave the plastic layer off altogether, opting to cluster elements on top and overlapping across the seams. First, here’s Mel’s page using Zoopendous and the Zoopendous Felties. and Tammy used Capture Your December, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Chalked Cards, Mark My Words, and Me and My Shadow.

Kimberly scanned her son’s artwork to put in the pockets of her page, and she used Give Thanks.

Jennifer used Naughty or Nice with her pocket page.

Jan used Winter Thrills and Naughty or Nice with In the Pocket {strips}.

And last, but not least, Jenny used In the Backyard and In the Pocket {square}.

Gallery Stand Outs | Digital Scrapbooking Ideas

Hello Friends! I found some great digital scrapbooking layouts in the SO Gallery to share with you. I hope you are inspired and can think of several ways to scraplift these layouts.

First up is Mrs. Ashbaugh. She used One Year Older. I like the blocking style she used. Great photos of the little one.

Next, DoggiNo created this fun layout using At the Beach. How cute is the toenail polish? Gotta say that when I do paint my nails, I’m not this creative. Love the use of shapes and banners.
