    Oh, i am a child of the Fab ’50s! i remember poodle skirt, saddle shoes and white bucks; Pendleton plaid patch-pocket jackets, Elvis, malts (25 cents for small, 30 cents for large) nickel hamburgers, 10-cent cheeseburgers, nickle and dime Cokes (and no extra for cherry syrup), sock-hops, autograph books, bobby sox and knee-highs, penny loafers, ducktails, and “steady pants” – we wore our boyfriends class ring on a chain around our necks or wrapped it with tape so it would fit on our fingers, and in college, we were “pinned” as a first step to engagement.i could tell the difference between glass packs and steel packs on a muffler, and “cruisin'” was the in thing on a Saturday night. Thanks for your attention to detail in creating the “fifties” kit. Thanks for the stitches and for today’s pieces of the grill kit! You’re a keeper!

    Thanks for your sharing your art… both the fab 50’s and get your grill on… like the others, I’m a bit confused because yesterday was day 15 and today is day 19, so I’m not quite sure what’s going on… hope you notice the comments and respond to clear things up… Thanks again
