Hello Friends!
One digital scrapbooking layout style that I really like is to include a #. You can use them in a list, as a large element on a page, perhaps create a book using just the # representing the month of that year. Like this one below.
Here are some ideas you could use #’s with for a layout. I’m sure you can think of others.
- the year ice cream was invented
- # of flavors of ice cream that your favorite ice cream shoppe carries
- the age of a birthday person
- the # of a combo meal at a drive-thru restaurant
- road signs
- the # of “sparklers” that your children get to use
- # of hotdogs or hamburgers eaten at a family party
- the # of times your road a log-flume ride
Here are a couple of ideas from our creative team. First Helen used #’s to celebrate her vacation in Florida. You might use this idea as a way to do any family vacations over the years. It would be a fun way to use #’s in a then & now layout.
Great minds think alike. Mel N. also used #’s in a list-form also. I bet you stop to look at the layout and view her different lists. I know I did. It’s a great way to share your vacations with others.
Look how Heather used a large # for her layout.
Here’s another idea from Chelle. Check out the use of # used as a time-stamp.
What are some ideas you could use #’s for?
ha…I thought you were gonna talk about hashtags. Good to see the # used for what I always think it is suppose to be used for.
I always add a number on my LO’s.Ok, ok. It’s the date on the corner of the LO, but it’s there (hee-hee-hee). I’ve ordered some custom-made tank tops for the family using Chelle’s new “Liberty” kit. I plan to take lots of photos, but this idea of using a # on the page has got me to thinking. Maybe I can have each one of us list why we like celebrating the 4th of July (Is having a # on my title count?)
And I know the perfect #’s to use, too. I think I’m going to try using Chelle’s “Fireworks” alphas b/c their design is the U.S. flag. Wow! Never thought that a blog could inspire me to plan out a LO! How awesome is that?
