Hello Friends! Sometimes as scrappers we get caught up in scrapping the major events…or waxing poetic in photos of our cute kids.  But don’t forget the everyday!  I often wonder what life was like for my great grandmothers.  With 5 little boys was she forever doing laundry?  With no prepared foods, did she spend her entire life cooking?  How often did she go shopping?  Where? and for What?

Early in my digital scrapbooking career (15 years ago) I created an ABC album about me.  In order to fill some of those letters, I was forced to include the everyday things.  I love those glimpses into our lives:  the inside of the van with the car-seats in a row…filled with sleeping children, or the one with a game & homemade frozen yogurt reminding me of our Friday night dates when the kids were tiny and “date” meant a game & a treat after the kids were asleep.
So do it.  Take a few photos of the everyday:  the pile of laundry that fills your to do list for the day.  The dandelion bouquet sitting next to your kitchen sink.  The garage sale treasures you found last weekend.  And scrap your everyday.
Let me show you some digital scrapbooking ideas:

Take a minute and make a mental list of “Everyday Life” pictures you could digital scrap. I bet you can think of a bunch.

Hugs!
