Hello Friends! What does digital scrapboking with Play the Game & Get Your Grill On make you think of? Easy for me… TAILGATING. Yummy! Donna & Heather came up with these fantastic layouts. For you friends that live outside the US. Tailgating is what happens for several hours or even a day prior to a major College or Professional sporting event. I associate it mostly with Football (the US Football not soccer.) Tailgating doesn’t have to be for football. It can be for any sport. I think the weather or time of year makes Football the sport that fits the best!

Let’s see what the ladies came up with. Donna made this layout showing how her family tailgates for Pittsburg Steeler game. Love those shirts they are wearing.

Unlikely Pairs O Holy Night & Graduation | Digital Scrapbooking Kit Coimbinations

Hello Friends!

This week I challenged our creative team to combine O Holy Night & Graduation and then make a digital scrapbooking layout. When I look at these 2 kits, I don’t see a merge very easily. See what I mean…. (just look at them)

Now let me show you what the ladies’ came up with. Teresa used these 2 fine kits for her son’s graduation in 2009.

Next, Karen used them to create her graduation layout. Love those faded out stars.

Next, Tammy created her graduation layout with that time-honored question, “You just graduated from Kindergarten, Where do you want to go now? {Love the humor.}

Next, Krista’s use of the two kits tugs at my heart. A lovely use of the 2 kits. Angel.

Last, Carol used the 2 kits for this graduation layout. Love the use of the grasses and the cluster she created.

Isn’t it enjoyable to see how differently we each would combine 2 kits for one layout? Show me what you would do. Post it in the gallery. I look every week to see what’s newly posted.

Unlikely Pairs: Anything CTR & Give Thanks! | Digital Scrapbooking Kit Combinations

Got some gratitude to scrap? Check out how our CT Members to created digital scrapbooking layouts using any of Chelle’s CTR {Choose the Right} Bundle products and Give Thanks! They sound good together right? Chelle has a wide variety of products in the CTR family: Baptism, Missionary, Eternal & Trek. I’ll add links to the bottom of the post so you can see all of them.

CTR {Bundle} Quickies

Carol created this layout using CTR using Make A Missionary from the Missionary Bundle as well as Give Thanks! The incorporation of the two kits is so seamless they appear to have been created together.

Next JennV used CTR {Trek} to build this triangular layout. Do you have some popsicle sticks that your kiddoes could get creative with? Love the use of multiple fonts to create her titles.

Last, Helen used CTR {Trek} for this layout. I love the use of squares and rectangles are used to define areas of her layout with just a few circles for emphasis.

Hi Everyone! This week our creative team was challenged to combine Game On and any of Chelle’s Chalked products in their digital scrapbooking layouts.

Chalked Products (I have them all linked up for you.) Check ’em out. They make me want to get into the (digital) chalk dust.

Now let me show you the layouts from the team. First I have Jenny (jenn18). Look how fun Game Night is with a few cute “chalked” elements.

Then we have Kassie’s (Kass_23) take on the game Sorry. How adorable is the word “sorry” in Chelle’s chalked “Serif” font.

Last I have Kimberly’s (EnjoyYourPix) layout on Bingo! With the use of white (ok black) space, it really emphasized her colored layouts.

Unlikely Pairs: In the Pool & Eeeek!/Carve It Up | Digital Scrapbooking Layouts

Hello Everyone! This month for unlikely pairs, I combined a couple of Chelle’s digital scrapbooking kits that I thought might stump our Creative Team. In the Pool, Eeeeek! & Carve It Up! Seriously how can you combine Halloween & Swimming? Of course the ladies did a magnificent job of showing me how wrong I was, they are un-stumpable! LOL!

Roxana (roxanamdm) combined the blues and oranges and used a great photo of sand-covered feet. I immediately could “feel” that sand on my skin. That wonderful wet & grimy feeling.

Next Helen (winipeg1). She also used the yellows of In the Pool with the purples & greens of Eeeek! A great combination of two unlikely kits. Highlighting the green elements works out well.

Last Tammy (CraftyTam) used Splash Mountain as the focus of her layout. Using “scared” for a water rollercoaster is a great way to combine these kits! Marvelous! Love the wave banner!

Hi Scrappers! Can you imagine the happiness of Learn N Grow combined with any of Chelle’s chalked products? How would you combine them? Let me show you all the digital scrapbooking goodies the team was able to choose from. First, Play N Grow:

Did you know Chelle had created this many different ways to use the “chalked” look? I bet you have some great ideas just dancing around in head now. Here’s the individual pieces and the Chalked {Bundle.}:

Let me show you how the Creative Team combined the chalked item of their choice with Play n Grow. Carol (Iowan) used Chalked {Frames) and Chalked {Outline}.

Jan (QuiltyMom)is up next. She used Chalked {Frames} & {Doodads} to create this layout.

Last we have Leah (CatLady) She used a tutorial that’s available on Chelle’s Website called Cartoon Posterizing. She also used Chalked {Frames} & {InstaLife Cards}.
