Black Friday Freebie | Digital Scrapbooking Freebies

Hello digi scrappers,

Did you gobble til you wobbled yesterday?  I did!  I do every year on Thanksgiving.  There’s just so much good food that I can’t help myself.  =)

Today in the US  is a BIG shopping day to kick off the holiday shopping season, so if you’re brave enough to go out and fight the crowds more power to ya.  I’ve done it a few times, but this year I’m doing most of my shopping online in my pajamas! LOL  I don’t like to fight the crowds maybe that’s why I love digital scrapbooking so much, because I don’t have to run out to the store.  I can just get everything I need with a click of the mouse and it’s on it’s way right to my hard drive.  Then, I can scrap before my mojo decides to take a hike.  LOL

Speaking of getting everything you want with the click of a mouse, did  you see that last Friday Chelle released the We Wish You a Merry Christmas Collection.  It’s FABULOUS and you’re going to want it ALL to get ready for the holidays.

I used this bundle to make today’s freebie.  It’s a little cluster that would look fabulous on a holiday card, tag or layout.

TIPs: PS & PSE Shortcuts | Digital Scrapbooking Printable Freebies

Thought I would share this shortcuts card that Chelle made up for classes she taught at Digiscrapapalooza in Las Vegas in March.  While the classes are not scheduled to be taught again right now she does offer video tutorials on her You Tube Channel and has an online Photoshop class as well – available at Scrap Orchard in her store. In addition to her online Photoshop class she has a Digital Scrapbook Designers Club where you can get her CU products each month as part of the subscription!

Rock the Vote | Digital Scrapbooking Freebie

I feel so blessed to live in a country where I have a voice in the leadership of our government.  Last week I headed to a nearby community to vote early.  All day I wore my “I voted” sticker with pride.

I’m passionate about exercising our right to vote.  My whole family is…so much that we spent a few hours last week calling people and encouraging them to vote and explaining how and where they could vote early.

The younger kids are across the room making campaign posters.  It was kind of fun.  I talked with plenty of pleasant strangers who shared our enthusiasm about the election.
