Happy Thanksgiving to those of you celebrating in the USA.  Happy Thursday to everyone else.

I’m not sure why I love pink in a Christmas kit…maybe it stems back to my childhood.  My mother always wanted to have a “fancy” tree.  Her first one was a white plastic tree which she filled to the brim with PINK lights and decorations.  She now has 3 trees, and there is still a pink tree at her house.
Whatever the reason, it was the perfect color scheme to create the much requested Nutcracker themed mini-kit.

And the alpha.  SWOON!  I love the quirky formality of this alpha.  I can tell it’s going to be used over and over again.

AND…every year I make an end of year blocked template with the numbers of that year.  But I get requests for other years…and birthday years…and…  This year I decided to do all of the numbers.  They are each sized approximately 6 inches wide by 10 inches tall, so 2 numbers fit perfectly side by side on a layout, or 4 numbers across a double layout spread.  Now you can use them for birthdays, graduations, reunions…whatever numerical memories you have.

I am pleasantly surprised at how fast the world of “phone booking” is adapting and progressing.  Did you know that now you can add your favorite elements from your favorite kits to your photos and your “scrap on your phone” layouts???  It won’t be long before we can scrap regular layouts on our phones.  But pocket scrapping is super fast.  And with these adorable 3Ds cards, you’ll love your layouts.  Check out the details in my you-tube tutorials below, but first.

MORE Scrap on Your Phone.

TWO tutorials this week using different apps.  The first one works best if you don’t have much space on your phone.  It utilizes dropbox as a storage spot for your cards.

The second one is my favorite.  I like that it exports in a larger size (the closest one to true 12×12 300 dpi).  And I really like that I can import several photos at once.  And THIS is the one where you can add ANY .png file to your layout.  Check it out:

The summer is heating up around here…by here I mean around my house (we spent the afternoon splashing in a kiddie pool and running through the sprinkler) AND at Scrap Orchard.  We are already into Week 2 of Iron Scrapper.  There is still plenty of time to earn those entries to increase your chances of winning those fabulous prizes!
