Hello Friends! Another week of cold weather here in the U.S. I hope everyone is safe and healthy. Speaking of health, why not discuss Valentine’s Day, candy, flowers and cards that you can create. I challenged our team to come up with some great digital scrapbooking ideas for us all to use. They made some really fun ideas. Check ’em out below.
Krisi (Krisi’s Kreations) created this valentine card for her daughter.
The same kit was used to create the bag toppers.
Krista (kc71595) created this fantastic mailbox.
Donna (djp332) made this wonderful card. She used Love Grows & Love Grows Rub-ons.
Chelle has many products that are a perfect fit for your valentine hybrid ideas. Just click on the images below for a quick trip to the market.

Go crazy and make something fun for your valentine!
I love to see arrows on a digital scrapbooking page. They let me know what is important on the page or the direction my eye should follow. Chelle’s Creations team members have some pages to show you different ways to get the effect of arrows on a page.
First, Jenn used Norlandia and the Norlandia {alphas} by Ziggle Designs and Chelle’s Creations to make her page. The arrows are large chevrons that are part of the Little Green Frog Designs template, and they are placed behind the photos. They create a great flow for the page.
Jenny also used a Little Green Frog Designs template and Chelle’s In the Backyard kit for her page. Again, the flow is obvious, and the page is fun to read.
Tammy used Chelle’s newest kit Out of this World for her page. She has chevrons on her page, like the others, but she also has a large curved arrow framing an adorable young Buzz, and there’s another carefully placed arrow pointing to the hero in the top photo launching to infinity and beyond, I’m sure.
Melissa has made a page with Love Grows, and it’s the perfect kit choice for her sweet little baby girl’s photo. She has used triangle paper pieces to form an arrow pointing to that sweet baby face.
Finally, Donna has used lots of arrows for her double page layout. On a recent trip along the Blue Ridge Parkway, she took photos of signs she encountered and photos of the views those signs described. On her page, she has used arrows to point from each sign to its respective view. It’s the perfect way to use arrows to help journal. By the way, she used Chelle’s Great Outdoors Bundle and the arrows are from Vrooom!
I hope you’ll consider adding some arrows to your next page. You can use chevrons or triangles instead of actual arrows, or you could even use drawn arrows like the ones in Chelle’s Creations Mark My Words.
Hey! Hope you are having a great day! This month I challenged our Creative Team to combine two of Chelle’s Digital Scrapbooking kits I thought would merge together seamlessly: In the Forest & Winter Woodland. (Images are linked up for you.) These 2 kits were part of larger sales in the market, so check your stash. Now let me show you the layouts they created.
First I have Christine (CarolinaScrapper). Isn’t the paper that is a circle & square overlayed with each other a great way to combine the wooden stump and the square for the deer.
Next I have Karen (ZippyOh) Love the big picture of the changing leaves. Great cluster images around the picture. Love this!
Last I have Helen. (Winipeg1) The photos of their walk make you want to step into the layout. I can’t decide who looks happier, her little girl or their dog. A nice walk for all to enjoy.
Here are links to the market and the products the layouts were created with.

Why not try these 2 kits and see what you come up with. I’d love to see them in the SO Gallery.
Hugs!!
Hello Everyone! I hope you all enjoyed Scrapper’s Bowl and participated in all the challenges. I can tell Bingo was a hit. I’ve found some digital scrapbooking layouts that I wanted to point out to you.
Michelelynne used Play the Game to create the appropriately timed Football Bingo card game.
Chippi used Rainbow Blues & Neutrals for her Bingo cards. I can’t tell which team she supports though? LOL.
Next, Kaytea used Snowlandia to create this beautiful layout. I love the colors of this kit. Those icy blues and purples really emphasize the winter season… or perhaps bruises if you aren’t very coordinated on the ice like me! (LOL)
Next CaroB71 also used Snowalndia to tell about a visit to the movie, “Fozen.”
Last, Spundgeon used Zoopendous to share the joy of going to the Happy Hollow. I like the streamlined look of pocket scrapbooking that allows for multiple pictures.
I love GSOs. I am always amazed at the versatility our fellow digi-scrapper’s use Chelle’s products. I sometimes think so literally that I enjoy seeing those of you can scrap outside the box.
Have a fabulous week!
What is it about Groundhog Day that makes me giddy? I really don’t know. Perhaps it is the prospect of warm weather. I love living in a place where the seasons are so different, but by the beginning of February, I am usually tired of the cold and ready for spring. This year I’m a bit torn. Because our snowpack is so minimal this year, we are joining our neighbors today in praying for more snow. (But I’m ok if it all comes in the next 2 weeks and then we see spring.) How about you? Are you hoping the groundhog sees his shadow?
In honor of this special day, I’ve made a new groundhog freebie…this time with a couple of clouds & a sun. Click on the image to download.
Hello Friends!
Squee! I adore Daddy’s Little Helper. Chelle’s hubby is really tall and the pics of him kneeling down with his little guy helping him clean windows, really frames the 2 of them together. Everyday life or Saturday cleaning make some of the greatest layouts for a family to enjoy. Chelle’s little guy may not ever remember cleaning windows with Daddy, but Chelle’s captured the activity for all to enjoy!
She used Spic N Span. It’s available as a kit and as part of a bundle.
No matter how you use this kit, for a special dance event or school colors, this layout is beautiful and elegant. Just what you’d expect for the 50th anniversary of the Tueller School of Dance. Chelle’s DD16 dances with this company and was honored to participate in their anniversary performance. Changing up the colors of elements in the O Holy Night kit really shows dramatically here.
How could you use Spic N Span in your layouts? What about O Holy Night? I’d never have thought to use a nativity themed kit with a dance competition. Share what you come up with. I’d love to see your ideas in the gallery.
Hugs!
